I love this. Very much needed today.

Strawberries ooze sweetness when you sprinkle sugar on them and let them sit for awhile, just like our little kiddies.

I couldn't agree more, although I hadn't thought of this analogy before. My garden certainly hasn't done as well this year b/c it got much less sunshine than last year. It's worth reflecting on how much sunshine I offer my children, individually.

It's perfect! Thank you for sharing this.

Wow, those strawberries look delicious and oh-so-summery! :) YUM!

Great reminder. Thanks Whitney.

Oh yes. Strawberries (and melons and people) can give off that appearance of being sweeter than they really are. It takes honest work to make the inside as sweet as the outside.

About this blog

  • When I took a sabbatical from Wall Street to pursue a different dream and help others live theirs, I learned that women in the U.S. may be placated, even pampered, but because we aren't dreaming, we are also desperate and depressed. Drawing on a variety of sources, ranging from academic studies to pop culture, dare to dream encourages us to dream. And then to act on our dreams.
