I agree; I like the hero's journey. BUT, I mostly enjoy the trainwrecks during the opening weeks. I don't endorse or approve of the disparaging remarks made by the judges to those poor souls, but it is darn funny to hear them sing; and then hear them express utter shock when they weren't chosen. Seriously, how some people think they can sing, and sing better than anyone else in America, is beyond me!
