I have become obsessed with HELLOmynameisHeather! I woke up at 3 am the last night and found myself back online looking at her site again. Everything about is amazes me. I love the colors, the design, the photography, the creativity. . .even the name of the blog!
My mom is super talented like Heather and there were no bounds to her creativity. Anything was possible and she took on all sorts of projects from painting to basketry to sewing to stained glass--all while raising 12 kids. She was always creating something. I used to think I was just like her when I was a little girl.
But now I look at Heather's site and think "I could never do that with my 6 kids. I have not time for stuff like that." Why not? It's been a long time since I've made something pretty. I'm daring to dream Whitney. . . I'm going to make Heather's headbands with Laken amd see how if feels to be crafty again.

Vanessa --

We cannot wait to see your headbands!

Take pictures -- and we'll post them.

About this blog

  • When I took a sabbatical from Wall Street to pursue a different dream and help others live theirs, I learned that women in the U.S. may be placated, even pampered, but because we aren't dreaming, we are also desperate and depressed. Drawing on a variety of sources, ranging from academic studies to pop culture, dare to dream encourages us to dream. And then to act on our dreams.
