The support network makes all the difference. The first time I went rock climbing it was with a man, a man I was trying to impress. I was concerned that I would appear, fat, out of shape, weak etc. and I have to say, it was not the best experience.

My second try was with my sister and the experience was the exact opposite. I felt comfortable with her has my cheerleader and I felt more comfortable in making mistakes and having her push me forward.

Yeah for systergy!

About this blog

  • When I took a sabbatical from Wall Street to pursue a different dream and help others live theirs, I learned that women in the U.S. may be placated, even pampered, but because we aren't dreaming, we are also desperate and depressed. Drawing on a variety of sources, ranging from academic studies to pop culture, dare to dream encourages us to dream. And then to act on our dreams.
