Glad to have bumped into you.

I would love to win this for my little dreamer who happens to love pink:)

Oh, dare I dream of a pink-and-white organizational haven of my very own? Please count me in! And make sure each one of my personalities has her own entry please! :)

what an adorable desk, Whitney...fantastic!! so excited about all you are doing.

How fun! I don't need pink, but I could pass this on to one deserving family as part of a free room makeover to encourage a dreamer.

Congrats Whitney! Your blog is really developing. You inspire me to take mine to the next level.

What a fun desk! And how fun for you to be the person to get to offer it! Thanks so much for all you do, Whitney!

It's really cool that you get to give things away on your blog. I also like that you get to have different people as guests on your blog.

This looks great! Count me in--I know a few girls at my house who would love this!

I'm in! One of my students will love this.

awesome desk and super thrilled for you to have been approached! count me in!

A roving desk!!! How handy this could come in!! Why, I could dream in the living room, my closet, the garage, the bathroom.... the possibilities are absolutely endless!!

Really happy that this is moving along, the pace will become exponential. Good luck! I'm sure Aaron's girls will love it if I'm chosen. Or Miranda. Or Jenny's ;-) You choose.

I would love to win one for my daughter - she dreams of being a writer.

A girl desk! I love it!

This is fantastic, Whitney!
What a wonderful offering... I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Thank you for always thinking of how to uplift and help others...

Did Joseph Campbell ever live in Manhattan? Perhaps he speaks of the metaphoric room or space where we are protected, nourished by unconditional love and buoyed by constant encouragement.

nifty desk!

Thanks for the heads up Whitney- That desk is way cute! You can count me in :)

That's a great idea, Whitney. You are doing wonderful things with this website. We'll pass on the word!

Your give-away ideas are creative and very generous Whitne!

Sweet. Count me in!!!

I love the idea of a room of one's own. I think of Jo March ("Little Women") writing in her turret. My dream house will have my very own turret with lots of light (and a delightful new desk). Daring to dream...

Love love love it! I've always been a fan of having your own space and this just might give me the opportunity to accomplish it! Fingers crossed!

what a fabulous idea -- a place to start making dreams reality! thanks for the possibilities you inspire in us.

About this blog

  • When I took a sabbatical from Wall Street to pursue a different dream and help others live theirs, I learned that women in the U.S. may be placated, even pampered, but because we aren't dreaming, we are also desperate and depressed. Drawing on a variety of sources, ranging from academic studies to pop culture, dare to dream encourages us to dream. And then to act on our dreams.
