12 year-old Sara Hutchins is considering becoming a fashion designer when she grows up.
Won't these dress designs for Shabby Apple Dresses be stunning on a statuesque 5'7" girl like Sara?
For Sara's first design, she envisions a blue ribbon in the middle, green plaid skirt, yellow short sleeved top.
Her second design is a green/grey dress with a yellow scarf; grey, heeled shoes with yellow buckles.
I am so proud of her for daring to dream: I'm thinking there should be a special category for all dress designers under the age of 18!
When you have a moment, won't you leave a comment telling Sara 'Atta Girl'?
Sara!
Nice job.
You have talent!
I like the simplicity of your design~

Sara I like what you did with your model showing the side profile of the shoes. Adding the yellow gave the grey dress a sophisticated vibrant look. And I have noticed that grey looks really stunning on redheads. Do you have red hair? What would you suggest for someone with darker hair?

Sara,
Great job! The detail in the shoes is quite difficult to accomplish. I also love the yellow scarf and green bangle accents. So simple, yet classy.
Good luck in your journey!

Awesome work, girlfriend! Your design is so well-rounded; for example, you can wear it, but so can I (even with our age difference!), and it works for all seasons. If you ever want help sewing it up, you know where to find me. . .;p Love ya!
