That is huge! Good for her. She has succeeded in a BIG way. Does it take that big of a shake-up in our lives to really make us driven to fulfill our dreams? Do we get to comfortable otherwise?

Such a lovely photo of Tensie and her daughter! Motherhood isn't the main point of Tensie's post, but it struck me that much of what we do as parents (and that she is doing now) is to leave the world a better place for our children.

Inspiring. We all endeavor to have impact. How that happens is unique to each on of us. I am inspired by how, and to what degree, Tensie is having an impact. Thank you for you sharing your experience.

Such an inspiring story. And to think she did all of this as a single mother. I love this story...what a strong woman!

About this blog

  • When I took a sabbatical from Wall Street to pursue a different dream and help others live theirs, I learned that women in the U.S. may be placated, even pampered, but because we aren't dreaming, we are also desperate and depressed. Drawing on a variety of sources, ranging from academic studies to pop culture, dare to dream encourages us to dream. And then to act on our dreams.
