Hi Whitney,
Thanks for always being a role model. Question for you. How have you brought this to your children? Are you finding ways to help them follow in your footsteps and appreciate each moment as a moment of opportunity and possibility? I would love a post on that. In trying to be more optimistic myself (not doing as well as you, I can honestly report), I am also trying to support my children to do it also. Faring less well in that respect. I would LOVE tips or suggestions in what has worked in your family. Thanks!

So good to hear of your success.

I love "an optimist perceives that something marvelous is happening now". I have "Something Wonderful is About to Happen" written on my bathroom mirror. I think I will modify it.

About this blog

  • When I took a sabbatical from Wall Street to pursue a different dream and help others live theirs, I learned that women in the U.S. may be placated, even pampered, but because we aren't dreaming, we are also desperate and depressed. Drawing on a variety of sources, ranging from academic studies to pop culture, dare to dream encourages us to dream. And then to act on our dreams.
